"My husband and I were lucky enough to be invited on a hike with Alex as our guide.  It turned out to be the highlight of our visit to Lake Atitlan.  Not only did he take us to a beautiful location with amazing vistas, he educated us along the way about the plants, farming practices and Mayan culture.  It was a pleasure to have deep conversations about life in Guatemala with someone who lives here and speaks fluent English.  His warm heart and gregarious personality made spending time with him feel like family" -
